“ I have been trying to get a reservation for a while. My group gathering was a bust because they could not accommodate 15 ppl. So I decided to visit again with only 5 of my friends in a weekend that apparently everyone was graduating. I was told, no reservations were available, to come and they would try to sit us. The lady in the front door was so rude, she told us she could only sit 4 of us , the fifth person could not be accommodated and the wait time was 2 hours on a Saturday at 11am. We ended up going inside to the use the restroom and saw how pretty the place is. My friend approached a server, Dawn, to ask if we would be able to sit outside since there was open spaces available. She directed us to the manager, Ashley, who said that yes we could all sit outside together but it would be a bit of waiting- maybe an hour. It was nice that she didn’t have a problem sitting us all together. We went to the shop next door to kill time and within 15 minutes we got the message that our table was ready. To our wonderful surprise, Dawn was our server and she was awesome! She was so attentive and make sure our experience was amazing. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service. Dawn and Ashley made our day! Chip and Joanna- these ladies are superb! ”

“ Memorable and amazing are the best two words to describe this place. Britney is the young manager here and she will make your dining experience absolutely incredible. The cherry on top is how great the food is. You'll just have to come and see for yourself. If you miss coming here when you're in Waco you're missing out on an absolutely phenomenal dining experience with servers who know and do their job well. So next time you're in Waco stop in it's worth it and say hi to Brittany I'm sure she'll make your meal even more memorable with her beautiful smile. ”

“ I have been wanting to go to Magnolia Cafe since they opened. Today was finally the day. It was so cool to see the place I watched them build in person. It was almost magical for me The food was amazing. We each ordered The Farmer and made sure to get different things so we could try as much as possible. The peppercorn bacon was the best! We also ordered a croissant that was so light and flaky. The biscuit did not disappoint. Be sure to splurge with the strawberry butter and put it on everything!!! The mimosa flight is a must try. Strawberry was my favorite, and my husband loved the cherry I can not wait to go back and try more. ”

“ My first visit here, there was no wait, the service was exceptional. The food was great! Now we did go in the middle of the week. I can't account for weekend service. Our waitress deserved the tip she received. She answered questions about the menu and gave suggestions that's that were a hit! I definitely plan to go back and take my mom! ”

“ I had the farm breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive — always checking in at just the right moments so we never had to flag anyone down or wait unnecessarily. The interior is not only beautiful but also has such a warm and welcoming vibe. Everyone working there was genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. There’s also a lovely outdoor patio area that looked so inviting — I’d love to sit out there next time I visit. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the overall atmosphere! ”

“ We visited for both breakfast and lunch and had reservations for both. Not sure we needed them but we were glad we had them. We were seated right away, ordered promptly, and served quickly. The portion sizes are large! The food and service were good and the restaurant was super cute and clean. It says Joanna all over it!! While all of the food was good, the standout for me was the biscuit with strawberry butter. It was outstanding!! ”
